Our Name

Technical and Vocational Education and Training or TVET is the UNESCO term to describe the area referred to by the acronym's VET, VTE and VE&T.

The term "TVET" was adopted by participants at the 1999 TVET World Congress, who decided it was the most comprehensive term to describe the broad scope of activities.
